1947 Harley FL Knucklehead 74 OHV

Linda from Independence, Oregon, United States made available these photos of her 1947 Harley FL Knucklehead which has a 74 cubic inch overhead valve V twin. This a superb example of a true classic Harley motorcycle.

Linda: "This is a one owner bike. My stepfather purchased it new in 1947. When he passed away in 1989 the bike was passed on to me. The last year it was licensed was 1965. Since 1965 and up to 1990 it had been stored in his barn. After it was passed on to me it was stored in a garage until approximately 2003 or 2004 when I had it completely restored. At the time of restoration I requested it be restored to as original as possible. The odometer is showing 14 miles on the bike since it was restored."
